Our History D.I.E. was birthed out of the New York City 2003 Blackout(Poweroutage) which turned out to be a poweroutage that strectched out from New York to Ohio. That's a lot of people without power at one time. which tells us just how vulnerable we really are.

Barrington understands that there must be a catalyst for change, and that catalyst is "PREPAREDNESS". Disasters have been around since the dawning of time, but that doesn't mean we should be prudent in our approach to dealing with them. There are two reasons disaster planning should be at the top of your company and community's agenda. Radio Interview with Radio talk show host Haja
On Christmas Eve of 2010, Barrington was interviewed on the radio show "Community Alert" by radio talk show host Dr.Haja from WHCR 90.F.M. in New York City. Barrington was discussing the Library Series that was conducted at The Harlem Branch Library in the name of "Planning For A Sustainable Future". A very fruitful and candid conversation with the business community and the general public. The program was a huge success, because of the interest level, and the positve feedback that was received. These things were elaborated in the interview by Mr.Polite. The panelists who were invited, solidified the entire evening and series which started the beginning of November and ended the 23rd of December. We totally thank Dr. Haja for the wonderful work that he does in media, and in the community.
