Community Forum January 26, 2012

Join C.E.O. Barrington Polite from Disaster & Immediate Evacuation September 29,

2011 7:00P.M. for a evening of preparedness discussions in honor of "National

Preparedness Month". This evening will include:  The Frederick E. Samuel

Community Democratic Club, Political Action Committee; with notables

Assemblyman Keith L.T. Wright,County/District Leader, Honorable Wilma Brown-

Phillips, District Leader, Ricky Davis, President, and Melvin Alston, Vice President.

These community leaders are hosting this event, and we at D.I.E., implore the

community and business people to attend this presentation to help enhance the

response to these hazardous times that we find ourselves being plagued with time

& time again. This is a FREE! event.

500 Men Making A Difference event

Disaster and Immediate Evacuation tabled an event at Boys and Girls High School in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City on  Saturday August 6, 2011. The event was put together by MEN who are absolutely making a difference in their community, and D.I.E. was happy to be a part of that occasion. Barrington networked with some great small business owner's, and looks forward to working with those individuals on some upcoming projects.

This will be held at The New York Public Library at the Harlem branch. Saturday November 13, 2010 from 2p.m.-5p.m. There will be a presentation conducted by the C.E.O. Barrington Polite and  C.O.O. Charles Edwards. Immediately following that, there will be a Q & A session and shortly after that, there will be a short disaster preparedness film shown. We want to bring this vital imformation and education to the community so that they can have an half of a chance in a disaster situation. The first 7 people will recieve a mini-first-aid kit. Come hear ou special guest panelists: Adjowa Clarsie Duckett, Founder & CEO of Watoto Wetu Institute of African Studies, Maureen Myles, Executive Director Trinity Program, Ifa sango, President & Owner of First Fruit Development, Louis Bailey, Residence Coordinator for University Consultation and Treatment center inc, Sylvia Hooper, Assistant Director for Foster Parent Advocacy foundation inc, and Shawn Williams, Director of Nathaniel D. Davis Victim Services Center. All these folks will give their expertise in their related fields of endeavor, and show us where we should be in our thinking related to a sustainable future.
